Ayo! Y’all already know what time it is. The mic is hot, the wigs are tight, and the claws are out. The Battle Royale for the Rap Women Championship has officially kicked off, and baby… it’s messy, spicy, and straight-up legendary.

Like we said last time: there can only be one. And since Cardi B dropped her latest album Am I the Drama? the answer been a loud YES. Sis came through with heat, but also stirred the pot like she was cookin’ Sunday dinner. Diss tracks? Check. Sneaky shots? Check. Whole rap game in their feelings? Double check.

Let’s talk about Pretty & Petty — the diss aimed at BIA. Cardi ain’t even try to be subtle. Then she slid on JT with Magnet, and that track got folks magnetized to the drama. But what really got the streets talkin’ is how Cardi ain’t throw no shade at Nicki on the album… yet Nicki still out here lookin’ salty like she bit into a lemon.

Nicki been actin’ like she forgot how she did Iggy Azalea dirty at the BET Awards. Remember that? Both won awards, Nicki got up and shaded Iggy talkin’ ‘bout “real women write their rhymes.” Iggy was signed to T.I. at the time, and he ain’t do nothin’ to defend her. Now Nicki mad that Cardi’s album rollout got more love than hers, and she ain’t even get dissed? That’s wild.

Nicki feelin’ that Lil Kim karma. She treated Kim like yesterday’s news, and now she gettin’ that same energy from the new girls. But why the kids gotta catch strays? They ain’t do nothin’ but exist.
