Now before you clutch ya pearls or start yellin’ “Nah, bruh, what about Ye’s visuals?” — hear me out. Back in the day, music videos was events . Like, red carpet, popcorn ready, don’t call my house til it’s over type events. I’m talkin’ about when MJ dropped “Remember the Time” — bruh, I remember exactly where I was, what I was wearin’, and even what snacks I had. That video was a whole movie . Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, ancient Egypt vibes — it was cinematic royalty. Then you had P. Diddy and Mase flyin’ around the globe in “Been Around the World” with J.Lo poppin’ up like a surprise guest at ya cookout. And don’t even get me started on the Mr. Biggs and R.
